Revenant Hunting? First time

I heard that it makes moderately good money so I'm just wondering a few things for any experts that might be here.

1. How dangerous is it? Yes I know it's the wilderness, but concerning pkers/the monsters themselves. Since it's multi-combat, will the other Revs jump at me as well?
2. Recommended gear? I have no dungeoneering weps.. so those are out.
3. How rare are drops?

1. Not dangerous at all if you three item and don't skull. If you go in a group of around 3-4 high level players, you can kill pretty much all the revenants. if you solo, only go for ones lower than your combat.
2. Members: Black d'hide body and chaps with Whip
F2P: Green d'hide body and Chaps with Rune Scimitar
3. The rarity of drops varies on the type of revenant being killed - an imp is much less likely to drop a rare item than a werewolf. The higher the combat of the revenant, the more likely it is to drop rare items.

 

1. Relatively dangerous, you can often get barraged and then clawed by duo or trio pkers. The monsters are also very strong despite their combat level.

2. Black d'hide and a whip should be fine.

I love rev hunting made 50m first trip ever there.

 

Always rev hunt in world set for something, like a SW or a PC world, less people/pkers tend to not go there

 

1. The Revenants is VERY dangerous, and that is why most people who go there only bring 3-4 valuable items, and anything after that has to be things you are willing to lose (d'hide sets, pots, food etc.).

2. Chaotic rapier/maul are your best bets, if you don't have one of those then a godsword is a close second, or even an abyssal whip. The Revs are weak to stab though, so always keep that in mind when choosing a weapon.

3. The drops are "rare" and totally random, but if you spend a couple hours there each day I promise you will get some nice loot


Some tips for you:

- Buy a ton of Forinthry Braces (1) off the GE. When you enter the dungeon and select the "repel" option on your brace, it makes it so that Revenants cannot damage you for 1 full minute, and that for 1 FULL HOUR the Revenants are non aggressive. Without this brace, you will be piled by the higher level Revs in multi-combat, especially if you are a low CB lvl.

- I usually bring a spec weapon such as a DDS or dragon claws not for the Revs, but to anti-rush any solo PK'ers who might attack you out of the blue.

- Salve amulet and Salve amulet (e) work wonders here as they give you a massive bonus in both attack & strength against undead creatures. Salve amulet gives 15% to each, and the (e) version gives 20%. This makes you hit much, much harder and is absolutely essential if you plan on seriously Rev hunting.
