Revenant Drop Log + Misc. Goals [99 Prayer | 96 Herblore]

UPDATES:

• Spent 2M building a gilded altar & burners in my POH in preparation of 99 prayer

Hello there Sythe!

So, recently after achieving most of the goals I have been working towards on my character for months, I have been starting to have a little fun by adventuring out into RS and trying some new things, my favourites so far being PVM and starting to PK here and there aswell. It has been a blast so far! But there are still a few goals that I have yet to complete, and since Sythe has become my second home over the last 6 months I decided I would create my first Progress Log ever so that you guys can join in on the adventure if you'd like!

Over the last few weeks for fun/profit, I have been venturing into Forinthry Dungeon a few nights per week to try my luck at the Revenants. I usually forget to take screenshots, but have decided I am going to try and log all my drops from now on while I work towards making a little extra cash for my Prayer/Herblore goals, and continue going to Revs regularly until I obtain my dream drop: Vesta's Longsword! Obviously, this might take awhile, and so I hope to fill this thread up over time with lots of pictures of cool drops for you guys to look at, and maybe even a PK once in awhile.

**I will try to update this thread weekly (sometimes even daily), depending on how much I am on RS and how much progress I am making. As of the beginning of this weekend, I am now on Christmas Holidays and so I will have way too much time on my hands **

[Rushed a guy who was training, nothing special]


[A lower levelled trainer helped me "lure" this guy by tricking him into skulling, at which point I rushed in and KO'ed in before he knew what hit him. I split the loot with the kid.]


[These were other small drops I got on December 14th after those kills up above, they were so small I didn't even bother taking pictures of the individual drops. All together they = about 300k]


Other notable drops in the last few weeks that I did not get pictures of include several statues & medallions worth 100k, 200k, or 400k a piece, a Corrupt Dragon Battlexe (2.5m GE price, sold for 3M), Corrupt Statius's Full helm (1.8M GE price, sold for 3M).

I will be sure to document ALL drops from now on!

I've been Dungeoneering nonstop over the last few days, and even spent some money on leeching dungeons (I know I cheated hehe). Almost 88 Dungeoneering, and I now have both the Chaotic Rapier & Chaotic Maul for Revenant hunting!

I wish I got pics of the Corrupt Baxe and Corrupt Statius's Full helm. They actually would have been some of the better drops up there

Also those PK's are random, and normally I don't really waste my time killing nubs for pointless loot, but once in awhile when I am bored & not getting any drops, temptation gets the best of me. I also die fairly often from clans/groups of PKers, so some days my profit is actually negative. I almost always make it all back + more though

** Funny story that was undocumented - That same night I got those 2 other kill pics from above, there was this girl who was 3 iteming with a BGS and kept attacking my Revs. I asked her to please stop, at which she ignored, so then I threatened her and said "Don't think I won't kill you". She finally stopped, and I went back to hunting Revs.

Well, 5 minutes later I run over to the other side of the cave and notice that she is skulled and she is fighting this lower levelled guy and he is struggling a bit. Without even thinking twice, I potted up, SS, Turm, and ran in and smited her out for the BGS. I split the drop with the kid 50/50, and thats how he actually helped me get those 2 kills above ^ as he added me afterwards and we began trying to "lure" people.

So for the guy who said its not worth it to kill people for that loot, it actually was I made 2.5M off the bgs split (including her armour), and then about 500k from the 2 kills above. That is an easy 3M for doing next to no work, on a night where the Revanents weren't being very generous.

 

Goodluck with the Herblore and vesta longsword Herblore is possibly my favourite skill.

 

Levelled up my herblore today Should hit 70 soon.

 

Gratz. =P You should clean herbs. ^^ It's fast & cheap.

I knew it was a great way to save money, but I figured that the clicking would take ages. I use mouskeys for that kind of stuff though so I might look into this.

Thanks man And yes, I will be posting more Revenant drops as they come in. I haven't really been on RS a whole lot the past few days, and when I have I've pretty much just been at GE slowly training herblore.

I will be going back to Rev's very soon though, especially if I am able to get on late at night (this is my favourite time to seriously hunt for drops).

I am also starting some dungeoneering today, so I will be updating this thread in the near future as I approach 80 dung, and get close to having enough tokens for my first chaotic weapon! I plan on buying a rapier to use specifically for Rev hunting.

 

Nice log, however I do think you should separate them. Your skills in 1 thread and revenant drops in the other,

 

With mousekeys , and some getting used to it , you can accumulate around 65-75k exp p/h .

 

Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking of that originally, but I just don't want to have multiple threads floating around to keep track of, so I figured I would stuff everything into one thread and hopefully it doesn't get too cluttered
