Market Security/Verifcation System

I havent been using sythe at all really, and have been here lurking since 07 came back. I saw that you guys implemnted the "Sythe Verified User" program, which I think is a good thing I just had another suggetion.

I think it would be interesting too have an insurance/bounty system in place for the marketplace. So basically you have the option to place a certain amount of $$$ or RSGP down on your account for verification. This would result in two things, people being more reluctant to scam because if they do they would lose their money, and two if people do get scammed they could get reimbursed with the money that the person put down.

Summary: I put 100$ on my sythe account (Send it to sythe Admin, or something that cannot be used by anyone). I can than say that I have a 100$ bounty placed on my account which would make trades under 100$ be a lot more legit (On my side atleast)

Already been tried with The Black Tux, no one used it.

 

This is the equivalent of using a donor rank to acquire trust which hasn't been earned, and ultimately ends up in the user scamming for more than they donated. No.
