Do you think this is scamming?

I didn't get banned or anything, just want to hear your opinions on this.



I'm at the duel arena (Level 83 combat) and I was pretending to be a noob wearing stuff like initiate helmet, desert shirt, rune legs and a dragon longsword, asking if I could 'plz train of ppl 4 xp', randomly going into duels with them and doing very bad. This level 115 comes up and we play a bit and I'm mis-spelliing everything I say you try to piss him off, he beats me many times obviously. After, he comes up to me, without me saying anything, and openly stakes his dragon chain, no rules. I accept, and since I had my real stuff in my inventory (magic gear with barrage runes), I barraged him and got his chain.

He follow me around.

For two hours.

Reporting me.


I didn't get banned, just wanted to see what you guys think of this. I personally don't think its scamming, more hustling. Even though it really wasn't my intention, just luck I suppose.

 

Its part of the game. Its not scamming at all.

his fault, he should have at the least looked you up on HS before staking something of such high value.

It's not scamming, it's strategy; he knew what he was staking, and against whom. Frankly, it was his fault for making assumptions.

 

Not scamming by any means, he only reported you because he was angry with his own stupidity.

you didn't trick him or anything. He was just believing that you sucked at the game, but you infact didn't. His fault, not yours.

that's exactly what that is. Ever see people play darts or pool at a bar? a lot of times they play really bad for no cash and then bet.

actually guys i found another good staking method.. get a really shitty name such as "243sfew33cake" and act like a total noob. sometimes people will 4x you in the duel arena if you act like that and say, "its my first time here." sort of thing.
