[Request] A new HUE.

Pen, nothing against you... but you just haven't done much for the User Education since you've come back. I know you're busy and all, but I don't think that's a good enough excuse. If you knew you were going to be busy, you shouldn't have accepting the position. There are other people, that have loads of ideas and love the User Education section that want to help, and are active that I think would suit the position of Head User Educator perfectly. Therefore, I'm requesting that a poll should be taken by the staff for a new Head User Educator, that would actually do something.

 

Matt's inactivity limits what I can do. I can't really implement anything new, or add new user educators because of it. Also, I'm busy, but I still spend time in the User Education section.

 

I too wish there was more activity, however I do understand your limitations as far as change is concerned. Maybe another admin should be moved up to help us out. It can be rather annoying when (nearly) NOTHING gets done. At any rate, I don't blame you Pen, I just wish you could take care of this yourself instead of waiting on Matthew.

 

I don't agree that Pen should step down from HUE. Really, what more can you do too the User Education. It has all the necessary Sub-Forums needed to function, we've added the new "Approved Guides" section for some character. There's not much more that can be done, everything that needs to be there, is there. Yes Pens a bit slack at times with locking/deleting threads in the "Reported Threads" section, but the job gets done in the end. I agree that he should contribute more in the Guides/Help Request's forums, but with the Global Mod rank as well as HUE, makes it that little bit more difficult. Some help from another user on the side would ease some pressure off Pens back, like a UE threads moderator or something along those lines. All in all, Pen should stay as Head User Educator.

 

Give Pen another chance. He must be having some problems IRL. Who doesn't?

It would be nice if you did something in your own section

Pen either needs to be removed or certain things done to make the section better

The UE used to be the scum of Sythe and I'd hate to see it like that again

 

Please stop spamming your useless comments around. Maybe you should read all the posts in a thread before commenting.

I've done everything I possibly can in the User Education section. Without Matthew, I can't get anything implemented.

Like pen has stated, he really can't do anything unless matthew implements it..so he is powerless

 

Pen has done a great job being a Global, ever seince he was promoted.
If you wan't to see a lot more stuff being added to the UE,
then you can't unfortunately, becuase Pen isn't an admin,
he can't just go running around adding new stuff the the UE,
without Matthew's permission first.

well thats true... i wanted rawr to becone HUE cuz hes active in the forum.. and its always glad to help ppl..... BUT

as Pen said.... its hard to do something without powers... maybe he should get more powers in this section, and he should be able to add more UE's

IF this is really happening.. you (Rawr) will have the same problems...

It's a great forum and the absence of a moderator, not necessarily Pen's fault, is greatly damaging the UE section. I do think we need someone who is going to show a bit more activity all around, including posting on others threads and such. Honestly, someone needs to step up and give Pen permissions or add a second HUE, which I think is a great idea.

 

Well R33l and Rawr do deserve it, but if Pen is doing everything then that it that.
