Member ranking

Members should be able to earn titles or rank points the longer they have been registered or the more successful trades they have.

DNS list as far as ranks go, and getting 'points' is (excuse the pun) pointless.

 

Well, you essentially already have the ability to do that. If you've made many successful trades, you're bound to have made a decent amount of money, and if you donate some of it to the site, you'll receive the perks (custom UT/UI, custom ranks, etc)

 

I think the titles for post count is enough. Trust ranks are obtained by yourself with long time.

And to show your trust... vouches

 

Yeah the ranking is on the Do Not Suggest list. But the points system COULD be good... If it were thought out properly and implemented correctly.

It shouldn't be for how much you've been registered because that doesn't mean anything, and neither does successful trades as people can fake vouch... But I do agree a system could be put in place for something like this. Just a shame it's on the DNS list, but It's a good suggestion nevertheless. Just make sure to read the stickies in future, would hate to see you get an infraction!

There are already a large amount of custom ranks, perks, and rewards available for donors. The rest of your 'member rank' can be earned as you gain a reputation and respect among the community and gain post count, vouches etc.
