Response to sebben

It is true, it has taken a while for payment to be completed. I initially purchased the items from him (pumpkin and easter, as he said), and agreed to pay via a amazon gift card. I followed his instructions explicitly, as I had never used amazon as a payment method. I did as was asked, and was told that it might take some time to go through. I assumed the trade was complete.

After 2 days of waiting,he had yet to receive his gift card, so I assumed something had gone wrong. I spoke with amazon and they didnt know what had happened. I called my credit card company the next day, and apparently my charge had been declined (since I am in the US and was purchasing from a UK site). At this point I had a 4 day training event with the army. I posted this in the UE private forums as well. Got back from the training event, and spoke with sebben. I have offered him both paypal and Western Union compensation, both of which were declined. I also offered to attempt at purchasing another Amazon gift card, which was declined.

My last option (obviously) was mail. I agreed to send via mail (although I TRULY dislike the option), and requested delay until I recieved my next pay check. I then had a second weekend of army training (didnt post about this in the UE forums, but others knew about it). After getting back from the army training, I got my pay check, and have since sent the money to the given address 2 days ago (consider it 1 day ago, as I got it in pretty late on wed.)

To re-iterate, I attempted to deal with him through other instant methods, I gladly offered to use both paypal AND western union to complete the trade. I also offered to try and do the amazon gift card as well. He was very stubborn on only accepting mail, which is the least safe or secure method of funding in my opinion. I have done trades with sebben before for a upwards of $150 as well. A simple PM back would have sufficed over a scam report : /

On a side note, I have stopped MMing and buying/selling anything until this is resolved, so would be nice to get a response from sebben.

 

When do you suppose he'll receive the money? If you have tracking that'll be great, but for the moment i've asked for his reply.

 

As shown in the image, he said was not needed. As I have never sent money via mail overseas, I can't really even make an educated guess on the subject. I can make a run down to the office and see if there is any way for them to verify it was sent, or see if they have an estimated arrival time for it. This is why I freaking hate sending payments via mail -.-
