    Requirements for Closing

There should be a box to type in what the reason is for closing a certain thread, and Matthew might be able to code it in next to the "Closed" image. I've seen way too many threads closed with no post or reason, and it gets annoying reading a thread and then it just STOPS for absolutely no reason.

    Discuss.

Threads that get locked usually get locked for the most common reasons, which you can tell by if you read the few last posts, like flaming, arguing or the thread creator asked for it to be closed. Threads just don't get locked because a moderator feels the need to pick on the certain individual.

This isn't me sucking up, just stating the obvious.

This is why stickies are there. To say what to put in your thread or get the lock.

Or just make it a rule that the moderators always have to post a reason when closing a thread.

Well alright, I've been thinking about the same thing. Thread closing without any explanations can be confusing.

It's not always necessary to justify why we close a thread. It's usually common sense if you look through a thread, as they usually get closed if the subject is too sensitive, the thread violates the rules or the thread creator is banned (only usually occurs in the market).

If you're really truly upset that you're not sure why a thread was closed, you can PM a moderator.

I like it when the Mod/Admins have the last word. When they say something then close the thread, It makes me feel like they are Superman/Woman.
