Guy who infected my little brother's computer - found him.

I found out the infector's real name and information so I need to know what legal action if any can be taken. Right now I'm concerned about recovering the money and receiving justice for me and the ones scammed more than being approved or denied by staff/admins here as this is much more important to me so this will not be an appeal to be unbanned as much as a request for advice.

[email protected] just contacted me on MSN trying to buy gp - I noticed this was the same as the RSN used to scam - iceforg.

I searched the MSN in google and found him to be a known scammer then I searched the MSN in Facebook and guess what? That gave his real name and location and everything. Since he has stolen $800 from me and $200 from people here, I think I should proceed in some way legally. I contacted all of his family members on Facebook telling them to set him straight and that he stole $1000 worth. I did not threaten him at all and don't mean to at all except purely legally.

First I didn't know it was him and just thought it was a buyer but found it weird he mentioned he saw me in sythe when this was banned so I looked at his MSN id and instantly remembered seeing that RSN. Also I accused him of being "Chris Brown" at first because if you search his MSN you see he filed a paypal dispute on someone and that was the name on his paypal.

Call the FBI. Nobody else has jurisdiction over the Internet. We can't help you legally, and to be frank I don't see anybody taking your case to any sort of court or prosecution at all. Tens of thousands (or even hundreds of thousands) of dollars are scammed or frauded every day on the Internet.
