My Ban

My ban was more than warranted for the time being and I would have banned myself if I was in the same position as the administration.

Although Matthew said he'd unban me after he receives the payment (after I already told him I'd send it), that's regardless of the point.

I'm morally obligated to give people what they pay for and refund them for what they haven't been payed for.

Right after I put my payment in the mailbox for the mail to pick it up, my sister took it out thinking it was mail.

Around that time Matthew said he was busy with school and whatever so I immediately PMed him and asked him to contact me, of course telling him what happened. I needed to know that at the address I was sending it to, he was able to pick it up, especially since he was in college.

Once I saw the update on donations in the News section I immediately requested he contact me because he obviously didn't check my PM for what ever reason.

It's neither Matthew's nor mine fault as to the delay. Things happen and Sythe.org users need to understand that. Don't tell me he's "not a hard person to contact". I sent him the PM waiting for him to contact me when he had the time. It wasn't necessary to hassle him with multiple PM's. He said he was busy and I understood that.

Regardless of the ban, I'm the sending money that I said I would. I just find it interesting that Tubba Lub and such really don't care about their money. They're encouraging keeping me banned for the very reason that there was no communication. That's one problem with a middle man accepting donations. I've ceased collecting donations for months. I've never been interested in scamming and I ceased collection because enough people were waiting on their rank.

Lucky for Tubba Lub and such the ban is not important to me as I have high moral standards. They should be smart as to keep their "mouths shut" in the future. Their constant bashing of me would generally compromise their money's safety if it weren't me handling it.

The money order has been sitting on my couch waiting to be cashed for months. Don't give me garbage about "Inventor wants to get back so he's gonna give the money and keep scamming". I've handled hundreds of dollars on Sythe and that's where my trust comes from. I also treat my customers/clients with respect even at times when they constantly annoy me.

I never scammed and never will. I even said to Matthew once he contacted me yesterday that I could text him a picture of the money order on my couch or email it to him from my phone.

Sythe was always a good community and a good place to be. The problem is when gossip spreads and often impacts users.

It's nice to see Sythe.org's staff doing their jobs and not kissing butt. It'd be nice if the community followed suit.

It's not really a dispute but there's no where else I'm allowed to post without ban evading. It'd be nice if this would be moved to the Feedback section with the staff's discretion.

We'll have to wait for Matthew's word on it, chances are that he'll have to recieve the payment before an unban

He's not asking for an unban; it sounds like Matthew has already agreed. I think he's just trying to clear his name in the meantime.

In which case, there will be plenty of time to do this once you're unbanned; I assume you'd rather have an explanation thread where you can reply to the responses, so I'll decline your request to have this moved to a public forum for the time being.

Although it could have been handled better, I'm sure most people will be sympathetic.

Correct. There's way too much spam on the issue pointlessly and the whole story needed to be addressed.

You actually have the right idea and I'd probably be more frustrated than helpful having it moved to feedback

Sadly, most problems can always be handled better. I almost wish I immediately resent it but I expected Matthew to reply quickly as he always had.
