No, lol. If you're a player moderator in Runescape, then you can recommend others to be modded. Jagex takes that into consideration when deciding whether they will or not.

Hello thar Kevin.

Just a few heads up:

-If you get too many recommendations from people, Jagex will send a letter to all the mods telling them not to recommend their friends. I would suggest a maximum of 2, or stay safe with 1.

-Since you want a minimal amount, you should know Jagex doesn't listen to a nobody mod the same as they do a veteran. You're better off getting an old, experienced mod who does quality reports compared to a new guy that just started.

-If you have even 1 offense on your account don't bother.

-I do believe play time is taken into consideration. So you probably won't be looked on as much if you recently made the account.

-I also believe Jagex will run an IP check, checking for any other previous accounts you may have had. [Not 100% on this one]

And GL etc. Am also trying to make my pure a mod, hopefully the IP check thing is false

 

An experienced mod most likely is not going to recommend a random person.
