Water Vial Running

Ok, here is the second guide i have posted on sythe.

This may sound like a nooby way to make money,
but it is very easy and quite effective.

Anyway, How to do it.

Firsly you need about 100k and teleports to varrock and ardougne.
Go to the east ardougne bank and continously walk down to the general store and buy vials of water for 10gp each.
After you've spent all your money on them go to the grand exchange and sell them for about 70 - 90gp each.
(Also you could include wearing boots of lightness, spotted or spottier cape to make you run for longer)



Profit per hour walking: 116k
Profit per hour running: 135k

P.S. I know it is a short and not very detailed guide, but it doesn't need to be because that^^ is basically all there is to it.

Speek for yourself, lots of people may want to use this way to earn some easy cash.

 

Some people need to stop being egocentric. Not everybody who reads this forum has played Runescape for thousands of hours. Also, somebody who's done the Shilo Village quest will probably be able to make more than 140k per hour doing something else.

Skilla: you need to research a bit before posting. Water Vials sell for 95 on the Grand Exchange.

You make (95 - 10) 85 profit per vial.

I timed the walk. It takes about 70 seconds to walk to and from the store, buy the vials, and unload them at the bank. That means you can make (3600 / 70) about 51 trips per hour. You make (27 x 85) 2295 coins per trip, or (51 x 2295) about 116k per hour.

I also tried running. Fooling with drinking the energy potion at the bank (and thus still having 27 slots open) isn't much faster than walking. Instead, I used one slot for an Energy Potion(3) and drank it while running. Since you want to save the empty vial when the potion is gone (they sell for 83 on the Grand Exchange), it will take about 55 seconds per trip, meaning you can make (3600 / 55) about 65 trips per hour. You make (26 x 85) 2210 coins, minus 210 coins for the potion, plus the 83 coins you get back from the empty vial, or (2210 - 210 + 83) 2083 coins per trip. That means that you will make (2083 x 65) about 135k per trip.

If you want to squeeze the last ounce of profit out of the method, you can drink the potion while on the run from the bank to the shop and drop the empty bottle. You'd make another (85 - 83) 2 coins per trip.

Here's the complete guide, which you're welcome to use for your post:

There are two methods for this: walking and running. Walking makes 115k per hour, running makes 135k

In either case, you'll do well to have either a Varrock Teleport Rune or the runes needed to teleport to Varrock in the bank so you can return to the Grand Exchange when you're done.

WALKING (115k per hour):

Start at the Ardougne East bank with your gold in inventory. Walk to and from the Item shop (which is west and a bit north), buying 27 vials of water each time. When you run out of gold or get tired of it, head for the Grand Exchange.

RUNNING (135k per hour):

To lighten the load, remove all armour and weapons and wear weight-reducing items (i.e. Boots of Lightness and Spotted/Spottier Cape).

You'll need one Energy Potion(3) per trip. At Varrock, divide the total gold you have by 470 to determine how many Energy Potions you can buy (of course you won't buy that many if you have a whole lot of gold).

At Ardougne, start at the West Bank with your gold and one Energy Potion in inventory. Turn on run. You'll be drinking the Energy Potion as you go and replacing the empty vial with a fresh Energy Potion at the bank. Buy 26 vials each time until you run out of money or get tired of it, then head for the Grand Exchange to sell the Water Vials and the Empty Vials.

This isn't a very good guide, it is extremely short and the subject is extremely obvious, include some pictures and it'd be a lot better

This is a VERY well known way to make money, but I guess anything is worth sharing. However, the picture of the water vial you have is just ridiculous. Take it down and put up a map of the run with a run time shown, or something beneficial.

You should ALSO include the Shilo village method, because it is faster and you should always be as thorough as possible when guide making. I think you should add in the information that Tom jr posted and said that you could include in your guide.
