It is unacceptable that Jon is not banned.

Jon has disappeared with several months of my (and other users) hosting paid in advanced and the Sythe team (more so the user "video" since I haven't seen any other team member active in the case) has said that, "basically nothing's being done".

I understand his situation. I understand mine better. It may seem heartless, but the world goes on (yes, even for me). I'm not upset about lost money more so than the web files I had saved on his servers which I do not have backup copies of. I own a state taxed business. I'm not playing with gold, accounts or marbles here. The Sythe team shouldn't treat it as such.

The Sythe team (again, more so "video") is being blatantly biased in favor of Jon, whether or not they believe so. I politely ask that video remain silent in this report and a 2nd opinion to be brought in. Whether or not Jon's situation is controllable, this is unfair to -everyone-, not just those that are affected directly by this case.

I understand that banning him will not get my hosting, files or money back quicker, if at all. Banning him is the correct process for how these types of reports are handled multiple times a day and this one is no different. I find that by not banning him his reputation is being protected by the Sythe team, which again is unfair to everyone.

If anything other than a ban on Jon comes from this thread, this will be the final post I make on Sythe. I will not reply to this thread any further because anything less would make it clear to me that the biased decision will remain. Any determent would be childish as we all know the case and exactly what's happening. I supported sythe with donations and honest, rule-abiding activity over the last 2 and a half years. I will no longer be a part of a community who's leadership team willingly permits situations like these to occur if this were to continue as it has.

This has nothing to do with bias or reputation I made the same judgment call 5 months ago when someone reported the Playerauctions account for scamming here PlayerAuctions is a scam

Me leaving the account unbanned helped facilitate communication when the playerauctions representative logged in and saw his inbox, he resolved the problem shortly afterward. This isn't about preserving people's reputation, this is simply about getting YOUR issue resolved. I've put a post on his profile linking to your report and letting people know but really if you want this resolved and I assume that's ultimately your goal here, then it would be best to leave him unbanned so he can see his sythe inbox and communicate that way.

Will leave this open for a second opinion, whatever that person decides I will respect

 

Sythe moderators are here to not only uphold the rules, but interpret situations and arrive to a decision that will result in the best outcome. As video has said, Jon is in a very difficult situation right now (that is all I will say out of respect for his privacy). While it's wonderful to see that you've been a rule-abiding user for a considerable time, I understand you have a difference of opinion; however, I hope you understand that not everything is black and white.

Jon has superb customer service, and I have no doubt that once he is capable, he will rectify the situation. Until then, banning him, and further inhibiting his ability to rectify the situation, isn't the best outcome here.
