Zidek#8775 threatening, posting maliciously in my ads/sketchy behavior.

Explanation of the trade: User approached me wanting to buy OSRS. Initially wanted me to go first, then we agreed on middle man. I was setting one up and wasn't interested in him setting one up as I have been approached by many imposter scams recently.

We agreed on 0.79C a mil, and I saw he had ads he was selling for .71-.75/mil which seemed highly suspicious and potentially a scam. For this reason I didn't want to deal with him and said I could refer him elsewhere but wanted a sythe PM first before doing so. He refused the PM, and proceeded to block me. Minutes later he posted in my gold ads to take caution trading me with no proof, evidence or offence committed on my end.

I simply would not abide by his rules and being that He was paying .79/M while selling for less I was almost certain he was attempting to scam as this makes literally no sense.
How they scammed: See above description for behavior. Attempted to offer me more for my gold then he was selling for, no Sythe PM, leaving malicious posts on my ads, threatening he is talking with a mod to give me a TWC when I have done nothing wrong, and won't remove his malicious posts. Please be noted I still have not received a Sythe PM.

Imgur ( this is the point in the conversation I state im not going first but we can use MM, I begin to start with a free MM and I realize he has ads where he is selling for less than he is offering me. Huge red flag for a scam or malicious activity so I don't tell him which MM I want to use. He proceeds to offer me MM of his choice. From my experience with scammers this is usually where they have an imposter MM message you of their choosing. So I decide I will tell him the MM's name once it's set up and ready to go.

I offer to refer elsewhere to someone who has a ton of vouches and is selling cheaper out of a good gesture. I had nothing to gain, you can see by the discord I sent him that it is a legit seller, selling for cheaper with big vouches. No malicious activity if anything I was being nice and doing him a favor. At this point he gets angry saying I am being sketchy which furthermore makes me think he is an imposter. I decide to ask for a Sythe PM before he messages someone I do business with, because I do not want to refer an imposter to someone I conduct business with. He does not send me a sythe PM and proceeds to block me. After the next photo conversation.

Without the evidence of that it is my belief that he was either trolling or attempting to scam me as there is no other explanation for him offering to pay me .79/M when he is selling for less. So please post screen shots or state who said I was attempting to scam as I have never once attempted to scam a user and never will. I am a full grown adult and dealing with things such as this is not in my best interests of time. But if you have the evidence please post it as I would like to see it. *** Please not this is the point in the conversation where I also tell him that I saw his gold buying ad for cheaper and stated that was why i don't want to deal with him as it is extremely sketchy and there is no logical explanation.

He did this once he knew I saw them already. When someone approaches for a deal of significant value such as this I will always investigate prior as I do not want to waste my time. This is how I found the major discrepencies in his statements and intentions.

I pmed him on here after he left malicious comments on my ad saying it was an infractionable offense, I have done nothing to scam and will make a report if he did not remove. He then edited the post saying I wasn't willing to use a middle man. Which I 100% was until seeing the discrepencies in his statements and pricing. Can anyone honestly say if someone approaches them to buy gold at .79, yet you see they have ads selling it for much less something does not sound sketchy? Would you want to set up a middleman and waste time with discrepencies such as this? This is the reason I was no longer interested in his deal which apparently angered him to the point of making threats and posting these posts. He is also telling me he is working with a mod to give me TWC when I have done nothing wrong. I would like to know which mod is being spoken too and what grounds the TWC are for.

If there is anything else needed evidence wise let me know. This is my first report I have made as these take quite a bit of time and energy to make. I have done my best to outline the series of events that took place, reasoning behind them with evidence as required. I still have not received a sythe PM from the user however we did PM on sythe after the fact so I do believe it is in fact him and not an imposter.

In summary this report is for malicious comments on my ads for no reason ( original comment said take caution with trading me)

Pursuing a gold buying deal with no intent of actually purchasing it ( offering .79 while selling for much less, would like explanation to this)

Threatening to give me a TWC while working with a mod in the sythe trading discord ( When I have and never will do anything against the rules on this site )

In summary I am making this report to get the comments removed from my ad, and if any infractions are due to this user for his activity provide evidence for those as well. If anything is needed I will update this as required.

Was approached by someone telling me personally to look out for nicholas because even though he states he's more than willing to use a mm, he refuses and makes excuse why one isn't available.

Knowing the deal wouldn't go through i added him to see if he'd try and scam me even though i was willing to pay his overpriced prices.

I told him to message @Champ himself and that he'll get us situated because he has mmed for me in the past as seen on my vouch page.

No legit seller is going to give a customer away to someone else unless they're trying to scam and are trying to make it seem like they aren't. Knowing he can't scam me, he proceeds to refer me to tutu. https://i.imgur.com/rnWv3jY.png

I really don't want to reply to every little thing here so if a mod wants me to respond to 1 specific thing, let me know i will 100%. This guy is pretty good at making himself look good and making me look bad lol. I'm actually impressed.

 

Also warning people to trade with caution when dealing with you isn't "malicious" If you find that malicious you need to get off the internet.

 

He also has no proof of stock, claims he has a couple hundred mill but won't show anything or show any type of stock.

 

If a mod needs to see any amount of stock I have I have no problem meeting anywhere in game to show at any point. I can also provide access to my discord profile, all chats, skype chats etc. There are months of conversations on there and deals that have gone through. I would like to see your evidence on who said I was attempting to scam with screen shots, as I have never once attempted to scam. I would also like to see the mod you said mentioned a twc was warranted on me.

Not commenting further on here until a mod comments what is required on my end.

 

Like i said, seeing that i am not possible to scam by you, you tried getting yourself out of the deal instead of simply stating i am not selling to you. You tried to Bull Sh*t your way out of it to look less sketchy.

 

This is all in your head. I was never and never will attempt to scam. You got angry and are acting delusional. I posted all chat logs and have offered access to all of my profiles as well as meeting in game to show gold. Let a mod decide what is needed. I am a full grown adult and honestly disapointed I am arguing with an 18 year old kid over something so petty as I am more mature than that. Let a mod post what is needed from us. As I said I will give up access to anything you mods require and meet in game to show stock at any time.

 

I'm not mad at all, obviously you felt some type of way to waste an hour making this report.

 

When someone says " I am working with a mod who says a TWC is warranted on you ", and posting in your ads to take caution with trading, a report such as this is warranted.

 

When I have 0 history of sketchy behavior, with 0 attempts to scam.

The chat logs are posted, let a 3rd party observe them and see there was no attempts to scam. When you offer to pay much more than anyone else and have ads recently showing you selling much less, i have no interest in dealing with you.

 

@nicholas desantis We have a free trade market, meaning refusing an MM is allowed. As far as the chat logs, anyone is more than welcome to not follow-up with a trade for "X" reason. If you do not feel comfortable with a user, do not proceed with the trade / use a verified middleman.
