They blatantly plagiarized our entire loyalty program, changing a few minimal details thinking it makes it unique. They also just copy pasted our terms, didn't even remove our website and company name from it.

Hey there I will say that I am surprised and a bit pleased to be getting reported by Probemas, although the only trademark and copyright issues we should really be worrying about are from Jagex lol.

We do admit fault for unintentionally allowing a line of your terms of service disclaimer section into our terms of service, since it was evidently just copy pasted. With that said, our Terms are like 5x longer than yours and that disclaimer is the only section that was matching your site, none of the other terms match even vageuly except for the most basic crossover since our sites are in the same industry/nice. Most of the terms and conditions of our site are based upon research done on the terms listed on other RS gold sites and e-commerce sites/marketplaces in general, since there is not much better professional experience when it comes to dealing with Jagex, than other rs sites. We typically would simply study the terms that are common on many sites and then use that to derive the terms we would use. Since terms of service are extremely common, especially the disclaimer line which appears almost identically on all rs gold selling sites, and not any original work by you, Probemas, I can say we had no ill intention in making the mistake of copying that; However, I am extremely sorry that somehow our on-site content team allowed a direct copy to paste to get put into our terms, that should have never gone onto our site and should have if anything only been used as example of how to create our own disclaimer. I have already had our devs remove that section of the disclaimer as soon as I saw this report as we don't want to be in conflict with you at all whatsoever.

As for the loyalty program, this is like your 4th or 5th time reporting someone for 'copying' your loyalty program. If you went onto all the gold and service discord servers, you might have to report every single one of them, because I would say I can think of like 20+ that all used a tier/rank-based loyalty programs with perks and benefits. It's not as if we copied the exact same benefits as you, or ranked titles, or tier levels etc and there are a number of differences. We have been using this Loyalty rank system within our discord server since before we even had a website, and we certainly didn't copy it from you. There are multiple differences between our too loyalty rank systems that I could point out. There are tons of sites that use this sort of loyalty program, and they are all extremely similar, I think this was detailed in some of the previous iterations of this report which you made against other people.

We also have a loyalty reward chest system, just like you do, and it was inspired by hearing about how many people would try and earn and save up points on your loyalty chest system. But I don't think you invented loyalty chest systems as your original work, nor did we COPY your system in any technical aspects. No copying of anything like the reward schemas, point values, item sets, user interfaces, or anything of that nature.

A lot of our ideas about how to optimize our site come from studying all the currently popular sites including yours, and that's not plagiarism it's just learning from the people at the top. You going to just declare yourself the original owner of all the good ideas that are used by multiple sites in the industry? IF you have any SPECEFIC issue about our Loyalty Program or how any 1 aspect of it is EXACTLY a copy of your loyalty program system, to the point where it would not also be exactly like 10 other loyalty programs, please feel free to mention that specific part.

 

While you are at it, the game logos on each of the buttons on our website home page currently, were inspired by buttons rsgoldmine use to use, which according to the artist who made the logos, were themselves inspired by buttons the same artist made for Probemas. I know you reported RSgoldmine for plagiarism for that before, despite the fact that it wasn't your original work nor did you have any rights to it, nor were/are they actually a copy. But that seems to be your thing, so might as well add it to the list
