Reporting Kyle_JDM

Explanation of the trade: He replied on my sales thread to PM him, he would be buying my account for 07GP.
How they scammed: As I am a more inactive, newer member, he showed multiple threads of his services with (a few) vouches (some of which are of banned members, which raised a flag, but "oh well, can't blame him?) He came up to me ingame to show proof he had the cash, which he did. I proceeded to send him the account info, and assisted with any transfers he might need. As he kept requesting more and more info, I got suspicious, at this point, too late. He had deleted my gmail account attached to the account (which took 30 seconds to restore, by the way) and had changed the account's email and password already. He then blocked me on Discord

Update (03 AUG 2018): Account recovered, still no word from Kyle_JDM. I doubt he's going to say anything at this point, but who knows

Working on it, need to await a reply from Jagex (office hours)
The problem is, he probably saved the info too, making the account considered "compromised" :s

I was told @Kyle_JDM has contacted you to resolve this @Relius, as his account was hacked. I will keep this open for now until his account has been recovered.

 

He did indeed contact me on Skype but was unable to assist me with anything. I recovered the stolen account but have found it banned for macroing this morning. I do not blame Kyle (If his sythe account was indeed hacked) for this directly and don't require him to make up for damages (unless he wants to, ofcourse )

I don't think much more can be said here, I hope @Kyle_JDM Learnt a lesson about account security, and I learnt my lesson to look into people I'm trading with more carefully x)

 

Banned for 3 months + user will remain permanently DNT'd (market-banned) until he refunds you/pardons. Sorry for your loss @Relius. Read this prior to trading again - Trading 101 - Vouches, donor status and how you can stay safe!.
