Beware of BTC doublespender "jaywalker2291"

How they scammed: User saw my gold selling thread and pmed me on skype. He sent me $40 worth of BTC with an extremely low fee. He said he didnt know it would take so long and asked if I could just pay him since he had to go and wouldn't be on for a while. I had never heard of transactions not going through, and I figured I would just pay the guy. After I paid him 40m 07 I checked the blockchain database and "double spend shows up". This means they sent a transaction with a larger fee to the same address (his own) and the transaction they sent to me is going to be refunded to him.

I am making this thread to prevent others from getting scammed.

 

In future you should search for a person's skype on sythe to see if they are banned or get them to PM you before trading as there are already multiple reports on that skype
