Bought an Old School RS account but just got taken back

Im curious, I bought an account from a kid like 7 months ago, I can't find the thread or any messages that pertain to the account? I've tried logging in several times and recovering it but to no avail..
I've messaged him on Skype but he hasn't logged in for a long time, anything I can do or just leave it alone? I didn't pay much for it but It's still kind of annoying.
