Sythe Radio?

We should have a 24/7 online radio. I would want to be a dj if we did it. It's not that expensive and i know alot of people would tune in while they play Runescape.. WoW, etc. since it doesn't take up much CPU (You can run most stations on iTunes).

What do you people think? The cost is maybe $30 a month max, maybe more or less, depending on how many people connect to it.

Is there no loophole so that we can play music without royalties or whatever and just say that the user is responsible for the legal shenanigans?

Theres actually a Vbulletin radio mod.

 

Almost every forum I've been on has suggested getting a radio, and everyone was for it, but none of them actually went through with it.

They're not hard to set up. Winamp plugin, port forwarding, test, configure, test, asx redirect, broadcast, advertise, etc.

Anything that is going to cost Sythe any money isn't going to be done unless there is some way to make money off of it.

Im all for it here are the pros:

More people will be attracted to sythe to listen to the music or updates about runescape,WoW etc.
- People would like to listen to music/updates/shoutouts while they browse the fourms.
-People would be more willing to donate to expand the Sythe radio
-Its gives a chance to be creative cause most forums doesnt have a radio but bobbavalues.com is a price checker but it has a dj and i love to go on it to listen to the radio



In general i support i hope this goes through and not thrown away like the Sythe MMO and all the other stuff they promised us members.
