Report a Scammer Pre-formatted Report

I suggest a pre-formatted layout for Report a Scammer threads, similar to the Anti-Spam section. I've seen many mods complain about how people just ignore the stickies and continue to post chat logs.

You are reporting: (insert scammer name here)
For what reason?: (what was the trade, what happened, how did you get scammed, etc.)
Evidence (NO CHAT LOGS PLEASE!): (insert pictures and screenshots here)
Other relevant information: (RSN, paypal email, MSN email, AIM, Skype, etc.)

The report a "spammer" section is so quick and easy, it'd be good if the report a "scammer" was as equally as quick and easy.

Also its true that barely anyone reads stickies but they'll be sure to read a pre-formatted report so when they see "no chat logs" then less people will post them.

 

It says a lot about our user base if we need to implement a format when someone can just read the stickys posted on that page.

 

Some people are just too deranged to read stickies, I think the report format should come up as a default for creating a new thread.

Most of the people using the Report a Scammer section are usually under 12, and at that age, will rarely have any emotional control after being scammed. This suggestion will aid both the staff and the members.

 

I support. Will allow the intellectually challenged members of Sythe to have a chance of getting people banned.

maybe add a

scammers email:
your email:

to differentiate whos who

 

Maybe add a thing for any other relevant info. IP address, RS username, paypal emails. Anything that won't fit in the above categories.

 

Unfortunately, most people who use the report a scammer section are illiterate and cannot read stickies. This pre-formatted layout will no longer require stickies, and will give mods an easier time when banning scammers.
