From my suggestion thread:

The Problem to be Addressed: Currently there is a substantial market that is being alienated from the general market. That market is the GFX market, and why is it alienated? Because you cannot receive vouches for a good trade if one half is an artist creating you a piece of graphics.

Why Should it Change?
The graphics market is just like any other market, it requires effort and time to produce a product/service.
The market is large and the Graphics Section has grown by leaps and bounds since the first of the year; I mean our mod is a global now. (Good job, Alt.)

You may argue:
Graphics take no trust.
People would go crazy and give away free graphics and build lots of vouches

But
Vouches are a representation of trust and though you may argue that it doesn't take any trust let me ask you this: Does making a custom script require trust? Isn't there a software section that is pretty much just that? What is the difference between requesting a script and paying afterwards and requesting a graphic and paying afterwards? While they serve different functions it is the same process. A customer places an order for a product that is supposed to achieve a certain goal, so the market for custom scripts works generally the same as the graphics market but they can receive a vouch when they get finished scripting while an artist cannot.
Vouches are subjective and therefore it is up to the individual users to decide if a graphics vouch is of the quality to trust.
To Combat Crappy Graphics Vouches:
To give people more insight on the vouch it should be made mandatory that the graphic bought is included in the vouch through a link that will not be removed. (IE: Something like a Piclion link, but not Imgur. As in a graphics host that doesn't delete the images after a couple weeks.) This would show the quality of work to make sure a person just isn't going into paint and drawing something up to get a vouch. Giving the viewer of the vouches a chance to decide if they are going to trust them or not

This is also open to editing, tweaking, morphing, and any other changes to get this implemented because I see this as a lapse.

So no one ever actually argued against it, and no one ever stated why it is on the DNS list. If you can't get graphics vouches then you shouldn't be able to get vouches for programming for someone because it is the same thing in practice.

Why can't you get graphic vouches? No one had enough time to actually discuss it before FireZ closed it because 'it is on the DNS list'. So what are the negative points? Why can't you vouch for graphics? Admins? Anyone?

I support, so long as a trade takes place. If someone pays 30M for a signature, why shouldn't that trade be recognized? It should be no different from any other service on the site. Obviously leaving vouches for free work is not acceptable. This is consistent with all other service trades on Sythe.

I agree, and this is perfectly acceptable. There seems to be an aversion to this though for some reason and no one seems to know why.

I ran into this problem when kinaesthic did a fair amount of gfx work for me and I couldn't vouch him for it. I don't really know the explanation either but I'm sure there is one

Besides, the "recommendations" are practically vouches anyways

and another thing about this, for kina if they let him use the gfx recommendations for vouches he would get like 1200 vouches overnight and become one of the most vouched people on sythe so i guess thats a pretty good reason

Not really, he only has like 900 orders.. BSGPseller has over 900 vouches and hes not even one of the top gold sellers...

There has been a lot of changes since then, and again if we aren't allowed to vouch for graphics then you shouldn't be allowed to vouch for programming. also vouches are subjective as everyone says, it's a person's choice on if they want to credit graphics vouches or not.

I was just linking the possible reasoning for it being on the DNS list, I wouldn't mind people vouching for GFX.
