    Removing recoveries...

Is it a good/bad idea to attempt to remove the recoveries on an account that you did not create? How likely is it that the account will get locked and be outside of your ability to recover?

Ex: I have an account that I purchased, put membership and recoveries as well as my e-mail on, and have played on it for a couple of months. I'm planning on selling it pretty soon, but I'm not particularly trusted so it'll be almost impossible to sell it WITH recoveries. I'd like to try to remove them, but considering I am NOT the original owner, I am worried I will lose the account to a lock completely.

Sorry if this is addressed in some sticky somewhere or if this is the wrong location.

You should remove them, I doubt the account will be locked.

It depends who you bought the account from. If it is a trusted member on Sythe then I think it would be safe to remove the recoveries. If not then I wouldn't suggest removing them until you have a buyer for sure.

I would do what bubba said and remove the recoveries when you have a buyer. But the account shouldn't get locked by just removing the recoveries especially since you have played on it for a couple of months now.
