Sythe Application for Android

and/or iPhone I suppose. Like most sites, Sythe can be viewed from the default browser on most phones, but it hard to navigate on the phones because of the layout of the site (namely small print and the threads being too "large" in nature).

It seems to me like this application would be easy to write. It's not something that "needs to be done", more along the lines of a convenience. I was just thinking if anyone has some spare time on their hands they could try their hand at this considering it'd probably be a pretty simple way of getting a good reputation on this site. My programming skills are quite limited, otherwise I'd write it myself.

 

Can you not use the Mobile theme?

 

I'd like to see an App for Android since that's what I use to go on sythe alot.

 

I agree it would be neat, but is it really worth the work? There already is some apps for vB boards, the admins will just have to enable it on their.

Mobile theme doesn't contain any info about posts when viewing the board, like who posted the last in that forum, ect.

Right, like I said, just a suggestion for anyone who has some time to kill after work.

I haven't really seen these apps in action, but I suppose they'd be just as good if they're usable.

 

I would like this to happen, but I dont know much about developping it and it could cost a bit, but if you do make it go iphone :]

 

I suppose it wouldn't be worth that much work. I guess now that I think about it, it could require a lot of time and communication with Administrators. Like I said, I can't really say since I don't program anything past some html and flex.
