well mainly i think you should make a new section called verifyed account
its basicly if you want to sell an account you let an admin/mod check it out and verify. i think you should make this because it will prevent people to stop scamming and it helps people get accounts better
yes i no its on rsbot but i prefer to use sythe its a lot bbetter and i think you should make this happen.
i hope you make this section happen so it makes sales legit and then im sure people can buy more accounts safer

 

This is a very smart idea, but there are much too many accounts for all of the staff to handle, the only way this would work is by putting up more staff members I suppose.

 

well yeh good point boher but i mean they could let people with like 50 vouhes and 1000 posts do it aswell

 

well admins would have way more stuff to do then....there are liek 30 accs sodl on sythe everyday! would take forever to check each account!

thats true... there are many accounts...and staff cant verify all of them.

BUT if someone wants to verify his acount... he can contact a moderator.. or a trusted use to verify it... then ask him to post on the thread, and you CAN do this

its a good idea but there are way to many accounts being sold i mean when i had a account store i had over 7 accounts for sale just by myself way to many accs being sold on sythe =/

 

This is a good setup that is used on a few other sites, but it can provide a false sense of confidence to the buyer that they are not going to get scammed. All accounts are recoverable, whether they have been verified by a Moderator or not. It would also increase the already gigantic workload that Moderators have to deal with daily. If the account could be proven recoverable by a staff member with the information you give the buyer, that might work better in the system.

 

If I'm not mistaken this was already suggested and denied, but I'm not 100% percent sure. I don't usually buy or sell accounts- I just bot on mine or search for effective ways to accumulate GP.

Like someone said if you gave the option to verify your account then the mod can put some sort of sign on your account selling thread that says account/accounts are verified. This way you wouldn't need more people to do this and its not mandatory.

 

It's a really good idea. The only downside is that it would pile on more work for staff. You would have to get more staff to make this work.

 

I would say do it but only for higher leveled trades
