Rates for getting logs

Okay, we all know runescape is based on algorithms and shit etc/...

So I know this is a long shot, but is there any chance anyone knows the rate or chance you have to get a "Magic Log" from a "Magic Tree" per chop animation.

A rough estimate is 60 hits at a tree per minute. 60 hits x 60 mins = 3600 hits per hour.

So what I'm trying to get at is compare the chance of getting a "Yew log" from a "Yew Tree" and the chance of getting a "Magic Log" from a "Magic Tree".

Both would be done for a dragon axe..

So if you still dont understand what Im getting at its like this.

1. You hit a tree 3600 times per hour.
2. There is a pre-determined chance to get a log per chop determined on WC Level. "Small dodgy example is 97 wc + drag axe = 1/17 hits at a tree is a log.

If possible by calculating the different rates would it not be possible to find what would be faster to generate an income from chopping trees?


So if calculated correctly, we might be able to factor and see if chopping a certain tree "yews instead of magics at x level" might be better to generate an income..


So yeah, thoughts and opinions on this.

 

Dont forget randoms/banking.

 

Well, at the moment I'm not taking into consideration of those factors, so if someone was able to calculate a formula it would be of a raw value without considering any variables such as banking and randoms.
