    I really dislike the idea of name changes on his forum considering everyone has a history on it,
    I can understand the fact that people don't like their name since some user made it years and years ago,
    but there small few name changes which make me dislike the idea as a whole.
    despite the rule saying you have to be 6 months after dnt or pardon I would like to see this rule extended to 2 years or complete removal of the whole system, I never plan on changing my name to completely different one because I'm not scared of the past like some user's are, I don't feel as if user should be given the chance to name change at all since the majority of them are bad standing with previous offence's and anyone with a good reputation would keep there name as it is.


    Basically, this suggestion is saying either

    A: make the time to name change longer after DNT or pardon to 2 years,

    B: remove the system as a whole, (not reverting anyone who has already name changed)

    Support. Users who are at a bad standing should not be allowed to change right away despite donating 200$.

    No support. I made a name I thought I liked and ended up wanting something else. I believe that's completely fine and people should be allowed to change to whatever they want. As you and I have both seen, too many users ask to have their name changed etc.

    Too many people have done it to make a revert justifiable. Other than not liking it, there hasn’t been a negative impact really. Being able to change your alias on the internet is user friendly, and we shouldn’t backtrack from that, no matter how annoying it may be.

    The system (in all likelihood) isn't going to be removed; it's a massive perk for donators.

    Name changes are already denied if the name request is too recent to an event (i.e. removal of a DNT, scam reports, etc.)
