    Remote access to speakers/mic

Hey there, my college ball is coming up and I want to play a little bit of a prank... basically, I want to remotely access the speakers and/or microphone.
Is there any simple way to do this, via my phone or something?

This is probably a real dumb question and a long shot, but thought i'd ask on a whim :)

Some of the microphones used today are wireless (possibly the speakers as well).

If you can figure out which frequency they are on, you might be able to override (overpower) their signal - although I think hijacking frequencies wouldn't amuse too many people...

Ok how would I do this? I don't want to amuse people, I just want to make the people's lives running it an absolute living hell (epic long story).

This is the simple answer: http://www.lifehacker.com.au/2011/1...by-transmitting-your-music-to-their-speakers/

Although, I'm not sure how well it works with professional grade electronics - and as it does state in the article: Check your states laws to make sure you are not breaking any

There is also the possibility of using frequency scanners to find that specific frequency and then tuning your own devices to it. Doing this with a phone isn't possible and the items required are going to be expensive.

Ok thanks for this info. Seems as though it's not going to be possible with what I've got.

There are tools like Remote Administration Tools that allow you to remotely access speaks and/or microphone's, the challenge would be installing the module on the computer or whatever it is your installing it on.
