Remember Neopets?

Just wondering... Anyone still play this game?

 

I remember I MMed a few neopets trades for a guy names "KingNeo". I think he is banned now. Never played myself, but learned a fair bit about it in the process.

 

Ah, my childhood game. Recently, I've been trying to get back into the game for nostalgia but to no avail. I've not accessed my account for 3-4 years and I can't remember the DOB that I've used for my account. Oh well.

 

Lol. Yeah. That's the ultimate trademark of neopets' security system of logging in. If you forget your DOB, your account is basically gone forever.

Shoot I played Neopets when I was 10 and I'm not that young anymore if you know what I mean. Although, I still log in to it every once in awhile. Last time I've checked though which was last week, the game is still up and running. They still do the same seasonal cups and stuff.

 

Haha, I remember those days. Pre Sythe when I was like 13 years old in the forums they have over there. They had quite a strong community - I was heavily involved with the avatar community

 

Nice! Did you have Super Attack Pea! avatar? Even with my account of 10 years, I couldn't get that avatar.

P.S. If you have super attack pea, I still need that avatar. Lol.

 

I never had SuAP! I had MSPP and all others but that was about it. SuAP was something beyond a rare occurrence and not many people hold that trust factor - it's worth thousands of dollars!

I'm sure there are avatar services being provided! Might cost about $10USD or so though, but it's worth it.

 

I remember playing a lot of neopets as a kid. I suppose that was the first online game I played before RS. When I saw the neopets market on Sythe, I tried to recover my old account to see if I had anything of value on there, but I couldn't remember the password or birthday, so no luck.

 

I used to play it as a kid. Can't hardly remember anything, though.

The problem with neopets is you have to remember your darn birthday. Obviously, as a kid, you don't put your actual birthday on there so its so hard for our accounts to get recovered.

My account was restricted and my parents had to FAX in a signed permission slip for me to use the whole site.

 

Hahahaha saw this thread. Hadn't remembered Neopets in years. Just logged in and my neopets are 15 years old lol!

Haven't played Neopets in 8+ years, was a quality game back when I was a small kid though.
