Few thread problems

I've had a couple of thread problems. I wrote a message earlier, that was alot longer that 5 characters and it said "message is too short".
I tried to respond to a suggestion but it said "Sorry! Thread is closed". Is it just me or is it just a minor problem that's going to get fixed? Thankyou.

 

1. I don't think it's a glitch of some sort, try seeing if this happens again, try PMing Matthew.
2. A moderator locked the thread before you submitted your post, it isn't a problem.

 

Thanks. I just remembered earlier that the 5 characters thing, I didn't realize I had written inside the quote.
