Donate by 'Services to Sythe'

Im sure you could do something like this.

Like sythe sets u a job to do to help the community and instead of getting an actual payment you get a donator rank instead?

Lets be honest its not going to be reversible and i think itll help with community spirit.


What are your thoughts

 

Expand on what type of jobs Sythe could set people..

 

I was thinking Things like...

1) Advertising on other Forums

2) Moderating certain sections of a forum section for a while (eg. Pin selling Mod)

3) Cleaning up Threads.

4) Finding Ban Evaders?

1. Advertising on other forums would start a fued between the two forums. That is a no go.

2. This wouldn't be fair on all the other mods, as they don't get paid/receive a donation rank for moderating.

3. This would require moderator powers. Refer to #2.

4. You shouldn't have to get paid/receive a donation rank for doing this.

 

Well your not really getting paid ur just getting a rank..

 

Mods do all of that already. Except maybe number 1

 

1. Do we like people coming on Sythe and advertising their forums?

2. There's Global and Market Mods for a reason.

3. Mods do that.

4. Mods do that.

You basically want Sythe members to do things that Moderators do and you want to have a donation under your name? None of the mods moderate this site for any sort of payment. It's all volunteer work.

 

But Sythe isn't gaining, as most mods do most of your ideas.

 

Sythe wants money, not services that mods already do for free.

You can't be called a donator by not even donating..

 

If You Want A Donater Rank, Then Donate Money Not A Service.

For The Time It Takes To Do The Service You Could Probably Make In The $ Effectively.
