Any ideas for valentines day gift

i know its sad that im asking here for opinions for a valentines gift but i know theres some creative people on these forums

me and my gf have been going out 4 1/2 months, and for valentines day, im her date to one of her friend's wedding, were staying the night there before....so i need an idea for something small that i can hide for her

im kinda thinking about handmaking a picture frame and putting the first picture we ever took together in it, but idk if its cheesy or something

oh and im broke just to let you all know, id rather put time than money into it

so anyone else got any good ideas?

 

I think that would be a good idea.

Create something yourself that has a meaning and is related to both of you.
Girls really like when you take time and put effort into making something for them and if it has a meaning, it's even better.

for one of our monthly anniversery's i carved a wooden heart box out of a block of wood, and engraved it with her name and quotes relating to us, and carved vines into it and hearts as the vines flowering

but that took like 3 weeks, and im kinda short on time to do anything that special

Well, I don't have much ideas either, I'm kinda looking for something special other than flowers and chocolate as everyone gives that and I think it's cheap lol.

Man, girls are difficult. The easiest, fail free gift to get is a bouquet of roses. Every woman loves a flower and no woman can resist a rose. Handmade cards are another popular gift.

 

Why white roses? Doesn't the colour white just mean purity and red mean love or something?

I vote the photo, some hand made chocolates as posted above (fuck they're good) and a mix tape CD of some of her favourite songs and songs that make you think of her (Eg. cold hard bitch, by jet)
