Regarding The Dispute Forum

As there are no moderators there (Town was previously mod there a few weeks/months ago, but as you know he is no longer a member of staff.)

I think Pen should be assigned moderator to the dispute forum, as he is (In my eyes) active there a lot of the time, more than most or all the other staff.

The again, Pen is active in most places these days .

 

He is a global, he already has power in all the forums.

i think that is the safest option.

We change the mods on there because sometimes a certain sectional does heaps of work and it's easier if they can move their own topics etc.

 

Assigning a moderator to that section wouldn't be a bad idea. It would probably get a lot of disputes done.

 

Yeah but then you have another problem, the moderator who is dispute mod might not have seen all the evidence, often evidence is shown to mods over msn instead of posted in the report section.

As the dispute mod would not have been the person that banned the member he would not have seen this vital evidence and so may remove the ban even though there was heavy evidence for the ban.

Simply we should just stay the way that we are currently where bans are usually only removed by the moderator who gave the ban.

If there was a "dispute mod" as such then they should only really remove things like infractions where all the evidence is obvious.

 

I agree, but it would be better if they only handled disputes they had evidence of..
