Ranking for join date

I think you should get a ranking besid your name that would state how long you have been on sythe. I joined in 2007 but don't post very often so although I have been on for 3 years im still a "member"
Even something as simple as "one year" or "two years" and so on

 

Honestly Join date doesn't mean anything to me.

 

I think post count is a lot more showing of activity on the forum, but I use join date and post count together, as someone may join today and get 200 posts in a day.

 

People can clearly tell when you've joined by just looking to the right. If you want a different user title than "member" then donate for a new user title.

Some people do trust people who have dates before 2010.

I don't support this though, as it is quite easy to find out a posters join date and there are other ways to get a custom one. Sure it would be cool, as i'm from 2007 also but your join date doesn't guarantee if you're trusted or a scammer.

 

I think the fact that you joined 3 years ago and post VERY little is perfect example as to why the current system (member) works.

It would misslead members into thinking that because you're an old member you're totally trustable. You joined back in 2007 and you have 2 vouches, I'd probably trust more a leecher joined last month with 10 real vouches. No support, sorry.

 

Haha ya I didn't even know the join date was on the right. But I agree with the guy before it is easy to just join today and spam and become more "trusted" I just think you should be recognized for staying with a website like this for a long period of time.

 

And for the record I don't think u have the right to say what I deserve and don't deserve considering your a leeches that just joined with 6 posts.

 

I think what he's trying to say is that he got told by a brand new member and doesn't really have a legitimate response/comeback.

I look at post per day. Some one who is a member for 5 years and has 3 post obviously isn't worth anything

 

The fact that join date is visible is enough already. Join date can give the false impression of trust. Truth is, a lot of older unused accounts are the prime victims for hackers.

 

No support. So we want to improve the value of accounts that people mass farmed back in 05-06 to be sold for more? And yes this does happen.
