Recruit-A-Friend

Hello everyone,

I decided I'd like to create a new account today to use in Runescape 2007, and I thought, why not get two memberships for the price of one by recruiting my own account?

I recruited my own account, and paid for a month of membership. I assumed that my other account, which I recruited it with, would get the free membership days nearly instantly but it has been over an hour now.

Does anybody know how long it will take for the recruit-a-friend to activate, and to get my free membership? How long did it take for you? Is it normal that I haven't received my membership credit yet?

I think refer a friend is instant, so you probably havent reffered yourself correctly.

 

I recruited my own e-mail address, and it says that I registered, but it says that I haven't subscribed for membership on my account yet, even though I have. This is quite annoying, because I actually need the free 30 days.

Who am I able to contact about this?

It actually took a day to show up when I did this on my accounts so just give it some time

Ive heard of it taking up to 24hours, but if it takes longer email jagex as you might have done it wrong

 

Gonna wait until tonight, and if I still haven't gotten it, I'll shoot billing an e-mail or something.

I've done this a few times and it was instant, says it may take up to 24hrs i believe.

 

Just give it a day, then i would email jagex if it doesn't show up.

 

Seems to be down, yeeh. I just tried to register using recruit a friend and it didn't work. I've done it before, so I know how to do it. I guess I'll be emailing them to see what's up.

 

Email Jagex @ [email protected] Although you are kind of scamming the system it may work. But recruiting yourself on your own IP probably messed it up. Well gl. Hope this helped bud.

 

Just recruited myself. It wasn't instant, gonna wait 24 hours now.

 

ya i did this yesterday, and it still hasn't shown up for me either.

 

So, I sent Jagex a message via Message Centre. They replied saying that there is some type of ongoing glitch with the Recruit-A-Friend feature, but I should have my credits within 72 hours.
