its a good idea but its so easy to fail because if someone has access to your account doesnt that mean they would be able to change recovery info?

 

No, I suggest that if people want to change there secret question/recovery questions they must get a mod to check there IP Address. Also, I think people must also have there IP's checked if they already have singed up since a hacker could have possesion of the account at the time.

the problem is that someone could go to a friends house and act like his acc got hacked so no one would think hes a scammer and then they could get away with anything

 

That has never happend before. If people could get away with that, then every account on Sythe would of already been hacked. To recover an account, you must give your IP Address. If you've moved or something then you must give some kind of evidence it is you. If you can't, tough. Also, that responce has nothing to do with the recoverys, that could happen now (If people fell for it), recoverys would make it safer.

 

This could be good, but one problem. If it would be like you put it and maybe something happened where you maybe lost some information then you've forgot the code and won't have much of a chance if your account is somehow hacked/stolen.

I do like SH4D3S idea though. It's good since when picking a secret question the answer is going to be something you know and will be able to remember. So it's just better in case something strange happened. Overall, nice idea mate. Hope it's accepted.
