Is getting plastic surgery okay?

It depends on the person, and what they want it for.

Who are we to judge another person for their life decisions? I personally feel that we all have control of what we do, and if it makes that person happy, I will support them 100%.

I Guess , plastic surgery isn't something bad but you better should go to a psychologists for the money cause if sombody wants plastic surgery , he/she has problems with his / her body and that has mental reasons.

 

That’s a little extreme, don’t you think? There is no reason to go to a psychiatrist lol.

 

Plastic surgery is reasoned by a "feeling of inferiority" (Am german , thats translated). I wouldn't get plastic surgery i would go to a psychologist instead , to work the problems out.

If you don't think so , thats ok . People who get plastic surgery probably won't think so aswell.

 

Really will depend on what is going to be done.

 

if they have the extra money to spare and it makes them happier then sure why not. it isnt always about comparing yourself to others but can also be self-satisfaction.

 

But you are not self-satisfactiont if you compare yourself with others , without people you wouldn't compare yourself and you would be self satisfactiont. It is reasoned by the society.

if you can't compare yourself there is no "ugly" or "beautiful" it is just "you", you want to improve something if you think it is less good. Without social preassure you wouldn't want to improve. When i look in the mirror i can say "I'm happy what i am seeing" or "Im ugly because sombody looks better than me"

 

A couple of my female friends got nose jobs from the ages of 16-18 which i only recently just found out about, so i'm inclined to believe that its a pretty decent operation. Although, the downsides included: cost them £5k or so + the risk of it going wrong/not liking the outcome + the long healing process. There will probably be forums online tailored to getting advice on plastic surgery, where you can speak to those who have undergone the surgery to get a more realistic opinion

 

I think it's fine once you're old enough to make that decision yourself and do thorough research on the changes you're having done and the doctor that will be doing it. Everyone has flaws, some gets bothered by it more than others and plastic surgery can change things. There's a procedure in Germany that could add a few inches to your height after excruciating pain and being bound to a wheelchair for a long time (they break the bones in your legs or something like that). There's people that straighten their hair. People that use make up to make their nose look better/slimmer/pointier etc.

Plastic surgery is a bit more drastic than some of the procedures above, but it's permanent for the most part. It can be a huge boost of confidence for some people and if that's what makes them happy then who are we to stop them.

With that said people sometimes go too far and keep wanting to change every flaw they can as they are never satisfied and end up looking like one of those freaks after having so many procedures done. I think after a certain point you should seek a psychologist.

I don’t agree with plastic surgery!

 

It’s gotta be different for everyone. I’m ok with the way I look which makes me feel like plastic surgery is not needed.

But if someone was born with something that stands out that can be fixed I think it’s worth it. If someone has half their face burned and plastic surgery can fix it some, definitely worth it.

 

In my opinion I think getting plastic surgery is shallow and an extreme way of approaching your mental issues. Would any of you guys be willing to marry a girl who has fake balloon sized tits or over sized inflated lips and a fake ass? I'm hoping most of you say no.

 

Hey, .. As long as I can squeeze them it's fine by me. I don't mind a balloon shaped ass as long as it doesn't pop during meat pounding activities.

I think realistically it's their own choice and their own body so what can anyone do or say,

I also personally don't think it's worth it, and enhancing your body like that is no good, but that is my opinion.
