How do i obtain a quickbow for skiller???

i was reading that article and it says i could wait till Anvil's HP drops to 1 and kill him and no experience shall be gained...
i tried that and his HP dont go down to 1
lowest it goes down to is like 20 with sir owen fighting it then it wont go down until you start attacking it.

is there anyway i could get the quickbow without gaining any combat experience??

 

I'm not sure about that method but you could try what I did for Shilo Village and Lost City, having him attack you and once you've dealt 1 damage, ring of recoil him to death. The 1 damage is essential otherwise the game doesn't register it as your kill.

 

You could recoil him down to literally red bar, then hit him @ 1lp, but you may not get him at the right time.

If not, try brewing down to 0 range & using an iron knife to hit as low as possible.
