Recovering an Old Account

Hi all,

Was recently trying to recover my hacked main. My first appeal was successful and I had control of the account for about a day before it was hacked back. All subsequent appeals have been denied - often times I have put the same information in and it has been denied for different reasons. I'm thinking that the IP I send the appeals in from has been flagged, but I'm not sure.

I know that the information I have is correct.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

try different very accruate info, such as ur first friends etc, jagax probably doesnt accept exact same info

 

Their new recovery process near-instant denies or accepts them. Just keep on trying, see what reason(s) it gets denied for, and go from there

When unlocking the main I sold it gave me two failed attempts aswell, I kept on providing the same information (which I knew was 100% accurate) until it got accepted.

if you have the original i.p address that should help quite a bit. what do you mean your i.p is flagged?

 

Flagged as in the IP is marked as trying to "fraudulently" appeal an account and so all appeals from it are denied.

Can anyone give me any ideas on what to put in the additional info box?

 

First bank pins, membership information, first friends, some old offenses you recall, email confirmation codes, ... A simple "my old account, thanks in advance" should do no harm either, lol.

It is possible that the hacker reset the accounts information (it's what win all day did to secure his acc)

Keep trying. Persistance is the key when trying to unlock an account. Jagex has no idea who's account it actually is and if you keep trying hard enough they just might rule in your favor. Check out why they are denying your appeals and change your next one accordingly.

 

OK, pretty much fill it in with as much depth as possible, including the first pass and as much creation details as possible.

Sounds a bit dodgy, I must say. Make sure that you are appealing from a IP at least close to yours (A friends house).

Bots read the additional information, won't do much towards the account appeal. Just write something about what happened.

Generally, you need to be in the exact position of the creation of the account as well as having all the information. I really doubt he has reset the information on the account.

 

Try membership info maybe.

You can't do this if it's not your account-better yet, if jagex finds out you did this and it's not yours, they don't let you on it i believe.
