Record Sound off your Sound Card...

I just found out how to do this and I think it's pretty cool, I've been wanting to know how to do it and you can do it with windows Sound Recorder.

    1. Open 'Sound Recorder'

    2. Go 'Edit' > 'Audio Properties'

    3. Under 'Sound playback' click 'Volume...' put them to maximum (record at maximum so you can alter the volume when playing back).

    4. Under 'Sound recording' change the 'Default Recording Device' to your sound card.

    5. Click 'Volume' and make it maximum. Don't close down 'Recording Control'.

    6. In 'Recording Control' tick the 'Select' box, or tick the a different one if your using a different setting (they should actually be option buttons but... You know how windows rolls...).

    7. In 'Recording Control' click Options > Properties.

    8. Change 'Mixer device' to your sound card if it isn't already.

    9. Change 'Adjust volume for' to 'Recording' and tick all the boxes.

    10. In 'Audio Properties' click 'Apply' then 'OK'.

Now it should work, if it doesn't then I've probably left a step out, I probably have actually, meh.
