Brand

So I was thinking about starting up a new shop and I have been playing with some branding ideas in my spare time. I really dug Kina's new logo's look but I wanted to do something different and use my influences which is Vintage/Vintage Advertisement/T-shirt designs.

 

The diamond kind of looks like an optimums prime logo. xD

The text is a little bland, and the ringed border around the diamond is kind of alright, but the diamond would look better if it looked like as if it was engraved in the background.

I used to do graphics on YouTube and quit sadly after just over a year of doing it. I may pick it back up again, will have to learn a lot again haha... But thanks for the inspiration man!

I personally love both logos and you could incorporate them both into your shop. You could use the top one as the face of your business, and then use the bottom circular one as a little watermark to add next to each design you make?

typo is kinda boring. spice it up and try and incorporate it into your logo/brand.

 

I personally love it mate. What did you use? Illustrator?

The negative bar going diagonally downwards (the gap between the sections going downwards) is thicker than the gaps at the top.

Helvetica is also far too commonly used, especially the neue light extended/ultralight extended as used here. It's starting to go slightly out of fashion unless you use it innovatively, so the logotype can be significantly improved.

Apart from that, I like it, it's usable, nice and such.
