Just here to post some of my recent artwork on CS6... I don't watch tutorials, I don't ask for help. I just basically, learn as I go. Used to do a lot of GFX in CS4 and CS5 but that was a while back... ANYWAY! Here's the work! Comment if you please!

Although this is just to display my artwork... IF you would like to BUY any of these pieces, feel free to ask me. I have the .PSD files still and will sell them for $2.50 a piece. Will edit the text to what you'd like, etc. Thanks!

Surj is right though. Read a tutorial for god sake. Learn about composition, flow, depth, lighting, color theory, and everything else that goes into a good signature. There are a lot of egregious errors in all of these tags that could easily be fixed with simple technique and know-how. Why would you refuse to read a tutorial? Do you just not want to make good signatures? Don't want to sound like a DB, but really.

Don't post in the Graphics Gallery if you're not ready to take criticism. Despite Surj's complete lack of ability to form a coherent sentence, the gist of what he's saying is true. To put it bluntly, these images are horrid and certainly not worth being called "artwork". www.tutorialized.com is a really great resource, I suggest you look through that site to get some skills and techniques learned for your own betterment.

Photoshop isn't just something you get better at by practicing without instruction. Not only does GFX require an intimate knowledge of photoshop's mechanisms in order to execute your creativity, it also requires at least basic design/art knowledge as well. Complimentary colors, depth of field, rule of thirds and other such aesthetic rules, flow, text design; all of this must be learned and executed in order to be able to call your images "art", and tutorials help you master these skills.

Ehhhh. Like mentioned above please look at some tutorials. Most of these are just roughly cut out stocks on stock backgrounds.

    Is this real life?

OT: I'm no expert at graphics, BUT, look over some tuts, or simply ask some of the other more experienced GFX'rs here on Sythe on how to improve, and about basic fundamental necessities.

See, to everyone but Surj, I take the criticism from. I just hate it when people come on a thread, and can't use any sense of proper English, or Grammar. The reason I don't look at tutorials is simply because I do like to learn stuff by myself, like I said, I haven't worked for that long in Photoshop recently. But I might take some tutorials, but for teaching myself, I wouldn't say I did that bad.

Every Graphic is as bad as the last.
There is no shame in reading a tutorial..Does not mean that you are copying some one style or taking their tricks. I'd say about 90% of what i've learned is from other peoples art work. I started off reading tutorials..mainly to learn my way around Photoshop which is the most important thing for making a tag. Later on you can graduate to looking at other peoples .PSDs which is a saved Signature that hasn't been compressed which means you can go through each layer and see what that person did to make it look the way it does. So basically a .PSD is like a tutorial ONLY if you know your way around photoshop. Just some tips that i think you should look into.

Your pieces are very poor. You need some form of foundation to be able to teach yourself. At least understand the tools at your disposal and what looks aesthetically pleasing before going on your own mission.
