what does sythe think about a range/mage hybrid that goes for soul split?

what is the bare minimum def level gained from getting the ancient curses?

smallest defence is around 30, and i think that would be an alright hybrid.

 

I think it would be alright, and you should make it zerker tho.

 

my main has been zerker, and i don't really enjoy them to be honest.

was thinking of making a 30 - 35 def hybrid [mage/range] w/ soul split and yeah.. just thought it'd be a cool way to pk i guess.

its either a new project or i turn my main[zerk] into a proper def whore'd main

 

You might as well make it a void pure.

 

Ancient curses can be achieved at a little under 30 defence, though most people just get 30 to wear better armor, although for the build your aiming for I'd reccommend a handcannon aswell, which brings you closer to 35 defence, at which time you'll be able to get agile armor, if you can be bothered to train agility.

Go hancannon, agile, and soul split as SiLLi said. That would be sweet.
Agile has similar bonuses as addy btw.

Or you could get ~77 dung and buy the rigour prayer. I think that would be very useful as well (if soul split is too expensive).

 

this is what i was thinking, but doesnt handcannon quest require 40 defence? :/ anyway. great thing about agile armor is it gives no negatives to range/mage, making it amazing hybrid armor material, and your right about the addy/agile similarities
