Lost 10m Due To A Bug

Basically, I was botting Hunter and I didn't realise it took me to the spot where the ogre kills you (Needs to be fixed, badly).

I checked the bot and noticed I had died and my gravestone had 2mins 30 seconds left on it. I get back to my body with about 1 minute to go, loot all my stuff and realise the 13-14k red chinchompas in my bag were not there.

So I just lost over 10m because the red chins decided not to spawn. Anyone encountered this bug before or know why this happened?

I think it's because chins are monsters lawl. Like once you drop them they run off or whatever, because yeah this has happened to me a bunch while botting my hunters. And yes I also agree it REALLY needs to be fixed so that it doesn't take you to that spot unless you're over the level they stop being aggressive. If I were you I'd watch your bot every time you set it up to make sure it doesn't go too far west (if it goes past that little hut where you buy the hunting cape from, stop it and restart it)

 

Yeah when you drop chins or die with them they are gone forever.

 

Chinchompas have no drop option, therefore it isn't supposed to be on the ground so they dissapeared when you died with them.

 

I think the crazy 'lil sods (Chinchompas) run for their lives when they are placed on the ground. It's happened to me a couple of times, you just have to remember to bank regularly :/

 

you wanna know what I do to prevent this, everyday when im done botting, I run to the bank and deposit all my chins, so in a case I die, I won't lose that much of them.

Chins are live animals therefore, they do not stay if you die.
It has always been like this.

 

I won't bother replying to every post as that will take forever. This really sucks, I wish I had known about it before. I was keeping an eye on it, although i forgot about it for a few minutes, next thing I know i'm in lumby. Tele'd with ring, had plenty of time. Was so pissed off when I realised they wern't there =@

Were you using the "Automatic" option? I always set it up at my own location and it's never happened to me.

 

Banking regularly does wonders.

 

They just run away when you drop them, I think when you die it says "Your chins ran away" Or somthing like that.

 

Yea this makes sense. It's like with items that have a destroy option.

I think ima try it with some sally's or maybe chins. Should be interesting.
