I've been playing Runescape for four years. These four years I was free to play the whole time. After all these years I've never figured out a good way to make money in free to play. Can someone tell me a good way to make money? I've been trying to find good ways for ages but none seem to do any good.

Anyway, im not sure if tanning cowhides is still a method, but i suppose you could try.

It's better off throwing out the money for membership, then gold farming.

As far as I'm aware, Rune Mining is by far the best money in F2P, but the requirements are quite high, not to mention many lack the patience for 85 Mining.

And since free trade is back, you should really save up 4M and get members. There's tons of ways to make money there, and if you can make a minimum of 4M per month, you won't have to worry about losing membership.

 

Jesus how can you play F2p Rs for 4 years? Seriously just spend 10m on buying members and you will make that back within a day or two

 

I used to flip black g sets before the recent FT update... like 200k a set before, idk about now

 

Try cockroach soldiers (the level 83 ones) if you are high enough level, or iron ore, yew logs or hill giants.

Try The dwarfen mines with iron ore. Get 15 dunge to access the deposit bank. Mine iron directly outside the resource dunge and deposit within the resource dunge. Last time I checked you can get a few hundred thousand coins per hour. This does require 60+ mining to one hit the ores.

OT: Cockroach soldiers are decent money as far as pvm goes. Otherwise you can mine iron or rune ore for decent money. Not really any spectacular ways to make money in f2p.

and since you are f2p mining is probably your best choice.

 

Yew logs in f2p are most definitely not the way to go unless your south of fally which isn't too bad. If you have low stats mining iron can make like 70k an hour in the 50's for mining but other than that just go buy an upgrade ha there are so many more efficient ways of making money in p2p.

 

Dude you really should just get members...

 

I'm pretty sure GoP is still the best F2P money making method besides merching. Get 50 RC and then just go do GoP, last time I did it it was somewhere around 100k gp/hour.
