ALSO,its not a joke tons of players wil lbe doing this+couple of jmods and tons of pmods BEWARE GUYS!
Their mostly likely going to be spamming jagex with reports like crazy... I mean this thing may get huge, Most bots that get reported are going to be gold farmers and such... All this does, Is take the heat off of us smart botters who know to take the day off. jagex has to go through ALL those reports those idiots made which is really going to slow their asses down.

In my opinion... I think its a good thing, Taking jagex's eyes off me... thats for sure

Say this hits 100 people following them around reporting bots... Well.. thats 100 reports every 60 secs, You do the math on how this is going to end up in a few hours, It's not going to be fun for the staff at jagex to sort through that crap.

1k reports per 10 minutes
6k per hour... Thats with 100 people.. Imagine if it gets bigger, Have fun Fagex.

Yeah this actually happened before with I believe rune essence and/or sorcerers garden bots. They aren't kidding. x.x

Jagex can't basically remove bots themselves so they have to join other players little "bot hunts" to remove them.

I don't like those big gold farming companies anyway they are the major reason of ruining this game with their spambots advertising, hundreds of computers with bots etc..

 

i'm sure that they will only hit the popular spots. And jagex wont be willing to ban that many bots, at each p2p bot is 5$ loss to them

 

I'm pretty sure reports are mostly automated, so, yeah.

 

I love how people contradict themselves, "oh I hate those bots, but I like to bot this" ...You're ALL contributing to ruining the game, It's like standing up in court for murder, and being all like "sure...you found her head in my basement with my DNA all over it...but I like doing it, that's not to say that I did anything wrong" ...If you're going to contribute to ruining a game, don't act like you're in the right for doing it in a different way, you're ruining it just as much as everyone else. I'm sick of all this Bias bullshit on this site.

Thanks for the warning. Not so sure about the "thanks fagex for going through all the reports" part. You forget that you can only report 1 bot per 1 minute and jagex probably doesn't even look at half of them. Which is also the reason you can be unmuted by saying something completly random.

 

5 ppl got banned until now on rsbuddy,you can go check yourself

 

And another 500++++ people have been banned as well, today and every day.

 

Considering the amount of people oblivious to these details, will not really increase much of a ban hike in my opinion. In fact, you're no better botting now than you were before.

Only obvious spots will be hit if anything. It's a lot harder in populated environments such as LRC.
