Ipod Touch Help?

i got an ipod touch today for Christmas, i jail broke it, but it seems like every time i connect it to my cpu, itunes will say "Ipod has been detected in recovery mode, please restore your ipod to be able to use it on Itunes."

Can this be fixed? Is this normal?
Please help

 

Just restore your ipod. Something probably went wrong in process of jailbreak

 

i did restore it multiple times.

 

Part of Jailbreaking for the first time requires you to *sometimes* restore with a hacked IPSW. Which program did you jailbreak with?

It was sincere, not sarcasm.

The reason why you are experiencing the boot into recovery mode is because iTouch 3GS's are still in the "tethered" jailbreaking stage. This is due to Apple's bootroom modifications.

Everytime you plug in your iTouch, you must run Blackra1n again and hit the "Make it Ra1n" button and you should be fine.

 

yes but it does not let me, it freezes on my ipod.
ive restored my ipod 4 or 5 times today bc when ut reboots to add an app or something it freezes with a USC cord and a arrow to itunes

 

Is it freezing even when its not jailbroken?

If it's jailbroken and freezing, restore using an actual .ipsw and see if it fixes things. Format your iTouch to a clean .ipsw and attempt to jailbreak again.

 

i did its still freezing.

All Mac users, please use PwnageTool, it has less bugs.

Windows Users using BlackRa1n, only the newest iTouch's and iPhone's require tethered jailbreaking. Please do research and find out whether or not this is worth it in your individual cases.
