A.) How the hell was I "wasting everyone's time" by reporting a mistake/error? And how is my feedback thread "audacious"? I was complaining that I made a thread to correct a simple error and half a month later it's finally answered and he just says "PM him." and locks the thread. The very least he could do it PM Tgump himself or saved it for a moderator who could edit the thread.

I have no clue why you are attacking me here as I was just contributing to the community. If you feel it's a waste of time then please do not even view my threads and leave it to other staff members who actually fucking care about the community and it's members. It's quite funny how you say my thread was "petty, foolish, frivolous" and I "relentlessly complain about insignificant things as it seems to empower you with some sort of self-importance and joy" when you are the one harassing me and frankly being a fucking asshole when a member is just trying to help. I find it humorous how negative feedback always gets locked with a retarded reply, but positive feedback stay open for quite a while.

Tyro should have just left the report open for another person to respond who had the permission to do what was asked.

That's the default message for vBulletin report system. Does that mean we should never report threads in the wrong section and those that break Market rules? (Such as no pictures)

Finn, you need to be a little nicer to members. You can go ahead and PMS 24/7, but leave it off Sythe.

P.S., I've seen threads created to report things that need to be fixed under Suggestions and Feedback before, and the creators were not flamed by an administrator/moderator. They were simply 'accepted' as a suggestion, and then locked.

 

So much anger over something so trivial.

Finn's reply made sense, but so did FG4's feedback thread. Whether it was a mistake, misconception, miscommunication, or some other lack of understanding between all parties involved, it's a report.

We don't need to flame each other or judge each other, and we don't need to create big threads and make a big deal out of things. Don't we have better things to be concerned about on New Year's Eve?

Lighten up guys and gals, I'm sure if you both of you sat down and talked about it, you would hopefully reach a point where both of you can admit that neither of you were in the wrong, and it was simply a misunderstanding.

Tyro's reply was reasonable: I would have done the same thing. Moderators, especially market moderators, are swamped with messages and requests. He personally isn't able to edit the thread, so asking the user who found the error to PM Tgump is normal.

Finn is able to see the moderator logs and understands all the shit Tyro does. Calling him lazying, especially from an administrators point of view, would be annoying. It's clear even to me, a regular user, that Tyro is one of the most active staff members. Finn's response was unnecessary/mildly over-the-top, but again I can see where the anger is coming from.

 

That's fine, if it was just said that way. The part I have a problem with is Finn being a complete dick.

 

Indeed his reply was mildly over-the-top, but you're not doing any better by telling him to, "Go die". If you have a problem with Finn, you should have sent a respectable PM to the other administrators.

 

A) Creating a report about something small. You would've been better off just PMing it. Then making a bullshit feedback topic.

B) No, all you fucking do on Sythe is report posts. It gets annoying after the 500th report.
