POuet scammed me

Hello all,

POuet scammed me and openly admitted to doing so as a way to get back money that they were scammed out of. Below is background information and my proof.

Briefly explain the trade:
I have been seeking Neopets UCs to buy on Sythe. On 03/08 I posted this thread thread. On the same day (at 4:38pm), the user POuet pmed me on Sythe asking if I wanted to buy a VVWN'd UC Aisha. This fit the criterion I was looking for, so I proceeded to arrange a price via Paypal.

I made sure that POuet knew that if I was scammed, I would open a dispute in Paypal and get my money back. After I sent the money, POuet logged off. I messaged the user, reminding him of our deal, and informing him that if I didn't receive the pet in 24 hours, I would file a dispute.

POuet messaged me on 03/09 in response and said : "Oh thats okY the paypal account isnt even mine and is now deleted". Additionally, they justified their actions with the statement "Well i got scammed for selling what inwas trying tonsell you. And im not even on neopets anymore. A way to lose a bit less Have a nice day!"


How they scammed: As mentioned above, they took my $53 in Paypal without delivering the pet to the account I specified. This was NOT a gift transaction, this was a purchase of goods.


Proof that you were not talking to an impostor:
I have screenshots of the entire conversation below, but short of that I don't know how to prove authenticity. If an admin contacted me, I could give them access to my account to see that the messages are real, and that the screenshots aren't edited.

My apologies if I'm missing any info, or the screenshots are bad. If theres any way I can make things better/verify this more completely, please let me know.
