How they scammed: Guide is well known method

I wouldn't complain if the guide was, "Selling guide on how to be a BA servicer". Then I could pass on it because I didn't want to become one - instead I bought an unknown goldfarming method.

The guide was basically to join a CC and start becoming a service provider. Exactly what this guy does here

This guide is akin to Chicks selling a guide and then telling someone to make a buy/sell RSGP post on the forums.

I don't have a copy of the guide, but joining a CC is very different to being a service provider on Sythe etc.

If you're in one of those clans you're just playing on your own account (You don't touch anyone else's accounts), earning up to 10m/hr (accurate) and its all entirely within Jagex rules. You literally just take part in the clans activities and there's no posting on forums etc. The guide's contents should speak for itself as to what hes selling because it's not as quite that simple.

I can give more clarity on the differences if needed, just let me know.

 

You are not allowed to sell guides that are common knowledge. Joining a CC and offering services is common knowledge. It's not hidden from anyone, its exactly what he is doing here on the forums and anyone can go to his thread and say.

"Hey, I want to make money doing this 2!" -> Join the CC and get started.

 

M8 you know it wasnt like that. I gave you the run down, waited for questions they never came. I even told you, ask questions and i elaborate. But instead you choose to block me on discord. As I told you, then you can sell a guide for the best steps on becoming a rank in a BA clan, and how to get there. Or even how to do BA successfully & make good money at it.

BA itself isnt an unknown method - either is doing services in a BA clan. Your method isn't unknown by any means. Chose what you are selling a guide on, a method, or information.

 

And i even mentioend it wasnt bottable and wasnt low effort prior to sale. Now y

You clearly can't get the 1st option done so let's wait for a mods reply. Btw if mods rule in my favor, I demand payment for the 4 other guides I was going to sell since you leaked some of it no matter how partial

 

As someone who does sell leeches, the guide would be pages long even with using video links of how to do roles because theres so many minor things that need to be explained. Theres already public information on how to do roles in BA on the various BA forums, so for you to differentiate your guide i'm hoping you have something that condenses everything into one single place and gives your own experience on it that isn't copied and pasted video links/guides from other people in the BA community.

If you have this, why don't you post it below and then delete it for the mods to look at? Since you said that you didn't get a chance to send him the full guide. The guide would be up to 10 pages long for it to be detailed enough to read it, and then be able to play BA to an acceptable standard to pass a trial to start leeching.

 

And even then it wouldnt be some hidden method.... It would be a BA guide which is perfectly legit to sell...But not as some unknown l33t hacker method

 

The information isn't open to the public, if you youtube def guides you get some spastic called Jospehsplace which is miles away from the meta. So the information isn't easy to find. My service was to put all the information together that us leech servicers hide away in our zetaboards which aren't as easily accessible to the public as you make it seem. None of us have found leeching through a google search, pretty much got to get accepted into the community. So it's pretty much valid for me to sell the steps needed to achieve a rank with efficient use of time. And as a matter of a fact though, I do have my own tips and tricks to make it easier and stuff that i wish i knew when going through the rank process. If I knew what I did now, would've saved my self countless hours just experimenting. The hally meta that seda wrote up is also pretty much ours since we put hours into testing it together and thought bout how to improve it, so that's mine to sell? And it isn't in any video, just a written guide in our zeta.

 

Do you have permission from everyone to compile and sell their guides though (which are free and public, and not restricted to ranks).

Other ranks have posted extensive guides for free, and you try to sell a paragraph for $50 and no concrete proof of having your own guide written at all?

Given that I made that video (read the video description), I'd like to make it clear I don't want to see my content being sold by other people as part of a guide. If it's in any guides being sold I'd like any references to the video to be removed.

Edit: This applies to all BA guides on that channel from 2013 to 2017.

 

This isn't by any definition a "guide" - please refund OP if you haven't already. If you have an actual guide, please PM it to me so that I can approve it but if this is the lot of what you have, I will have to lock your guide-selling thread.
