Four months later....banned from RS

In November, I decided to quit playing Runescape, or at least quit paying for it. I gave all of my gold away to somebody else and haven't logged back on since.

I came back today to take a look at the new Summoning skill, only to find that my account had been banned. Their reason:

We have evidence to prove that you have been intentionally playing RuneScape in order to financially benefit yourself in the real world.
You have been deemed to be in complete control at the time of the incident.

I sent them an appeal stating that I gave the gold away and in no way benefitted from doing so. I got back a reply:

Thank you for your appeal.

We are sorry to inform you that this appeal has been denied.

We have conclusive evidence that you were in control of the account at the time of the offence and, for this reason, this offence will remain on your account.

We suggest you take some time to remind yourself of the Rules of Conduct before you start playing again!

Jagex Customer Support

Never mind that they have about as much of a chance of me playing again (I've moved on to other MMORPG's) as they have of seeing Osama bin Laden play a set of tennis this week against Queen Elizabeth at Wimbledon.

Do the middle school students (as in 12-14 year olds) that Jagex pays to handle these bans/appeals even read what's sent to them, or do they pick a form reply randomly from a list?

Just for fun, I sent in my "last chance appeal", repeating that I never claimed that I didn't give away the gold, only that I didn't benefit financially from it. I also laid $20 to $5 with a friend that I get the exact same form letter AGAIN that I posted above.
